Who is Meg?
I was born into a family of 7 where the youngest to the oldes where 10 years apart. And, guess what? Yep. I was the 4th child, right smack in the middle! I guess that's when I learned how to "Listen and Love Without Judgement"! Some of my friends and family have called me a peacekeeper, a favorite easy going go with the flow person, loving, optimistic, leprechaun, happy, passionate, stubborn, and best of all the Voice of Reason!
Voice of reason? What does that mean? I know I don't have a college education like most of my friends. But, I have been rich, poor, middle class and just classy. I have rubbed elbows with the top dogs, doctors, nurses, lawyers, politicians, accountants, developers, ministers. priests, nuns, entertainers, musicians, athletes, restaurateurs, teachers, millionaires, billionaires, CEO's, Vice Presidents, Union workers, clerks, salesman, and anyone else you can imagine. And I think, people are all "Similar but different". LOL. One of my best friends laughs every time I say that, but I believe it to be true!
What did they all have in common? The need to acquire the ability to laugh, have passion, good health, true love, faith, loyalty from others, and most important, Common Sense to recognize them! Try to find that in any school, doctors office, within your friends, your club, store, website, not happening! I have been to all of the above, and guess what? Not there! I have struggled with that for 53 years, worrying, wondering, and trying to change it or express how important my opinion and belief.
My husband has said numerous times, forget about everyone, worry about yourself! I just can't. I have finally learned that I have been blessed with all of the above attributes which you can not buy. I thought I needed all of the other "Things" and "Stuff" to make me happy, when in reality I had it all. More than I could have ever dreamed! I cant make people realize this, or feel them, I can only help them see that they too can have all, if not everything they have ever needed, if they are willing to let go! Who would have thought that all those things you can not buy would prove to be the most valuable. I surely didn't,
I think the most important one of those is COMMON SENSE.
Why? Because without it you could not recognize all those gifts and decipher what's important, and what's not. I have helped family members, friends, clients, colleagues, ministers, customers and many others to sort out their situations, relationships, business and personal decisions. And, they actually came back to told me how my words and compassion shaped their lives for the better. What comes natural to me, is not so natural for others.
Giving hope, joy, love, faith, and all you have, besides my husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends, is the greatest gift I have ever received!
Wow! Now who would have thought that I could do all those things with the words and actions. Yes, me MEG!
I have been wanting to write a book for many years, but when i started to write I thought I couldn't, and wouldn't break the trust of all my friends and family that have shared so much of their hearts with me. I could never break the trust and loyalty they have bestowed upon me. So I decided to create a blog, utilizing the ability I have, to share my gifts with you, the public, and hope to change many lives. Just ASK MEG, but make sure you want to hear the answer!!!
